This lipstick goes perfectly with that picture! I would definitely recommend this shade if you’re starting with Fall and Winter make-up shopping. Now that school is starting and shit, my mind immediately starts thinking in warm colors, such as burnt orange and cinnamon. I know MAC Taupe is not everybody’s color, but I do think it’s a perfect brown for (early) Fall. I'm going back to an oldie for this Fall 2021 makeup look I picked this Mac Mischief Mink Palette when I started geting back into makeup. Also, this color would look great on darker skintones, so it’s definitely a color for everybody! It’s also still fairly neutral, so you could wear it with a lot of different make-up looks. This lipstick is essential for me, because it has the perfect undertone for those kinds of looks. I love it! I always like to wear orange and red tones on my eyes, especially in the Fall time.
MAC LIPSTICKS FOR FALL FULL
This is how the lipstick looks with my full face of make-up. Taupe looks like a more brown version of my natural lip color to be honest, and I really dig it. It doesn’t dry out my lips and is very comfortable to wear for a matte lipstick. I always add a photo of my bare lips, just for comparison. MAC LIPSTICKS FOR FALL FOR MAC
I also swatched MAC Lip Pencil in Spice, just because it’s the PERFECT match for MAC Taupe. The pigmentation is very nice, which is usually the case with MAC lipsticks. The lipstick is a matte, but is still pretty shiny for a real matte lipstick. It’s a very orange-y, red-toned brown, which looks more like cinnamon or something. I would never have called this lipstick ‘Taupe’, because this isn’t taupe at all. MAC Cosmetics describes Taupe as an muted reddish-taupe brown. This time, I have two swatches to show you. I love how my MAC lipstick collection looks on my make-up vanity and I can’t wait to fill all the 24 spots in my lipstick holder! I also like the shape of MAC lipsticks. MAC Cosmetics iconic packaging is a black, minimal and bullet-like. I always like to start off with the packaging.
